OneSquad never sees your code. Role instructions are served to your IDE — everything else stays local.
FAQ
Common questions
How does OneSquad connect to my IDE?
OneSquad connects via MCP (Model Context Protocol). You add a single MCP entry to your IDE — Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible tool — and your full AI squad is available immediately via
@os-pm, @os-dev, and the other role handles. What does OneSquad see?
Nothing in your codebase. OneSquad serves role instructions to your IDE — plain text prompts that tell the LLM how to behave as each role. Your IDE's LLM generates your specs and code locally. We never see your codebase, your specs, or your output. The only data that touches our servers is API key validation and the role prompt request.
What's the difference between Professional and Organization?
Professional is for individual builders who want the full 8-role suite. Organization adds a managed team layer — invite members, assign org admins, issue per-org API keys, and revoke access automatically when someone leaves. Members keep their personal account identity completely separate from the org.
What happens to my personal account when I join an org?
Nothing changes. Your personal account and its plan stay exactly as they are. Joining an Organization gives you an additional org context you can switch into. Your personal and org work are completely separate — product lists don't mix.
What are per-org API keys?
Each member of an Organization gets an API key scoped to that org. When they leave or are removed, their org key is automatically revoked — no manual cleanup needed. Admins can also revoke any member's key at any time from the org dashboard.
What AI roles are available?
PM, System Architect, UX Designer, Technical Program Manager, Software Engineer, Test Engineer, DevOps Engineer, and FinOps Advisor. All plans include all roles — some are still a work in progress and will improve over time.
How is early access working?
We are onboarding teams in batches. Submit your interest and we will send you an invitation code when a spot opens. Select the plan that fits your team when you apply — it helps us prioritise accordingly.
